The Order Board is useful when you have extra items to spare. It lets you complete requests in exchange for rewards, but not every order deserves your attention right away.
Sometimes you already have everything an order needs. Other times, completing it means spending Energy and using resources that you need somewhere else.
Knowing the difference can make the Order Board much more useful.
Take a Look Before You Start Crafting
When an order appears, check what it is asking for before you start making anything.
If most of the items are already in your storage, the order may be worth completing. You can turn things you already have into a reward without putting much extra work into it.
But if you need to collect several resources and craft multiple items just to finish one request, take a step back and look at what else you could be doing with those resources.
Don’t Give Away Something You Still Need
This is probably the easiest mistake to make.
You see an order asking for an item you have, so you hand it over. A few minutes later, another task needs the same item.
Before completing an order, think about your current quests and building upgrades. If the item is needed for something you’re already working on, keeping it may be the better choice.
You can always come back to the Order Board later.
Use the Board When It Fits Your Progress
The Order Board works best when it fits naturally into what you’re already doing.
For example, if you’re collecting resources for another task and happen to have enough items for an order, completing it can be a convenient way to get an extra reward.
You don’t need to change your whole routine just to satisfy every request.
What About Difficult Orders?
If an order needs items that take a long time to produce, don’t feel pressured to complete it immediately.
Look at the reward and decide whether the effort makes sense for you.
There isn’t a single type of order that is always the best. An item that is easy for one player to produce may be much harder for another, depending on their current progress.
Keep an Eye on Your Resources
Energy is only part of the cost of an order.
You may also need materials, crafted items, or resources that are difficult to replace. Before completing a demanding order, consider what those items are worth to your current progress.
This is especially important when you’re already working toward a building upgrade or quest.
When Should You Complete an Order?
A simple rule works well:
If you already have the items and don’t need them elsewhere, completing the order can make sense.
If you have to spend a lot of Energy and resources to produce everything from scratch, take a closer look at the reward before committing.
Sometimes waiting is the smarter move.
Make the Order Board Work for You
You don’t need to complete every order that appears.
Check what you have, think about what you need next, and then decide. The best orders are the ones that fit your current progress without forcing you to waste resources.
The Order Board is there to help your island move forward. Use it when it works in your favor, not simply because an order is waiting.
